Pétard.

mid 16th cent.: from French pétard, from péter ‘break wind’.


This numb nuts was trapping flies in the roof of the conservatory. Bees are not allowed to be caught, local bye-laws prevent the abduction or apprehension and consumption of bees. 


How to catch offenders.
Sneak up from behind, as they always run backwards, make rotary swipes with the window hook, thereby wrapping the offending arachnid in it's own web. 


Sentence. - 6 weeks in a young offenders institute plus 180 hours of community service. Or death. (I'm Judge Jeffrey's modern version)
