Skipping
Out on Barton Farm this evening I saw several of these. I did think with their tiny size and delta shaped wings they must be moths, but according to my countryside bible they are skipper butterflies. I can't tell if they're large skippers or small skippers, both kinds seem very titchy to me! Anyway, with her glowing orange wings I thought this lady(?) rather a beauty.
And talking of skipping, I'm going AWOL for a few days. I shall turn off my comments shortly and catch up with you all (and your journals) later. Have a fantastic week - the lucky south UKers, at least, in glorious sunshine.
xx
