Walking the walls

Walking around the ancient walls of Dubrovnik was not on my 'bucket list', but it should have been!

The others in our party were keen to do the walk today so I tagged along - and I am so glad I did! The views were idyllic and the walls were gleaming white in the sun. Everywhere we looked there was a view straight out of 'The talented Mr Ripley' or one of those ads for an expensive fragrance.

The downside was getting the bus back to our hotel; the driver crams in passengers like very friendly sardines! I had to clamber over two large suitcases and squeeze through an avenue of people to reach the exit.

A taxi tomorrow, I think.
