Tick tock

Another day of travel (which felt like it mightn't happen*) and now we're further north in Port Douglas, rainforest and great barrier reef country.
The beach, in front of where this was taken has a sign, warning people not to go in the water, there's crocs apparently


* tried to confirm the flights (Newcastle-Brisbane-Cairns) last night only to be told by Virgin that although the flights were 'held' for us, they hadn't been released & ticketed, 3 stressful hours later, after phonecalls and emails, our flights were confirmed.
