Surprise Silver Anniversary do

Our friend organised a surprise 25th anniversary bbq evening for her sister and brother-in-law. We had attended their wedding so invited to join the celebrations also. It had already been organised for a small family gathering for a bbq, so that was the basis for the secret. There were a number of white lies said to keep the secret:

* their children had arranged for them to have a short break in Norway for a few days (to help with the preparations);

* their niece had flown over from Hong Kong;

* family friends had come over from Spain;

* the Morris dancing group they belong to - OBJ had turned up to entertain;

* their children had sneaked out their clothing and instruments to join in with OBJ.

It was well and truly a surprise and they were impressed at the planning that had gone into getting it organised.

We ended the evening by watching the video of their wedding - OMG we all look so young!
