Mr and Mrs Kutywayo

My gosh, what a day. A long and tiring day but one full of absolute joy, emotion and God's blessing.

Alison and Charles met four and a half years ago and have had a long and eventful journey to get to today. A journey spent largely away from each other, sometimes at opposite ends of the same country but often on different continents entirely. I remember living with Alison during the summer of 2012 in Zambia, when she was in the crazy, hazy days of new love and joining in with a few skype chats with Charlie! If any of the images from today sum up the pure joy and relief of finally becoming husband and wife, then it's today's extra image. I've loved spending those little moments with them today, with nobody else around and seeing how much they love being with each other and laughing together.

Technically, it was a difficult wedding. Different skin tones and a whole day of startlingly bright sunshine made for the trickiest wedding I've done so far. But I'm so glad that I got to be a part of it.
