BBQ

Fabulous day with a BBQ for Lordswood friends. Thank goodness Son # 1 took over the cooking allowing us the time to play host properly.

The girls wanted to go to the beach and eventual daughter in law took pity on them and off they went. They returned with a bucket of shells and proceeded to spend an hour or more washing and counting them.

It was lovely to have so many friends together and quite strange that so many of them didn't know each other despite living near to each other. We meet people in different circumstances, through our work or children or even dog walking and so have various circles of friends. Some of mine will continue now to meet up having met at our BBQ!
