Horsepower with HP

Family day today. We visited the cousin of my late father and his wife in the Bernese Jura. The initials of his first name are HP. That's how we call him, and also the nickname he received in the small village they live. It even goes that far, that his wife is known as Mrs. HP. Luckily the weather was sunny, although with a strong 'bise' (east wind) and we enjoyed the carriage ride with their horse through a green landscape to a buvette, and after the aperitif back to the stables.

After a late lunch we went up to the Chasseral (1'607 m, highest point in the Bernese Jura) and had a great view northwards towards France and southwards to the Alps. As an alpinist HP was on top of many peaks and able to explain us the names of the full range, including the famous names as Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and then more to the right the impressive Mont Blanc.

We spent a lovely day together and I learned quite some new and interesting stories from my family history. HP remembers back to my grand-grandfather, as he spent much of his free time with my grandparents family and has an exceptional good memory.
