Wedding Number 3: Tom and Alice

I've had a lovely but long day at Tom and Alice's wedding. Tom said the reception was going to be in a field with a marquee and that's what it was.
Early start to pick up Jade and Matt in Manchester then down the road from hell to Wolverhampton for a lovely wedding service in a beautiful church. Then on to the reception in a field near Shifnal. The rain kept away .
Tom and Alice went to the reception in a VW camper van(hippy van) which reminded me of his grandparents and their camper van.
It was lovely catching up with all the Southalls again, Simon would have loved it, I am sure he was there in spirit.
A lovely meal, great company, super speeches and a clear journey home!!!! We took Frankie back to Manchester which was lovely as it meant I spent some time with her.
The next Southall gathering is for George's wedding in November wedding number 4.
The extra is Matt and Jade by the sign on the dance floor.
Today is also my sister Kate's 39 wedding anniversary so celebrations next year.
