Bog trotting......

The HG really knows how to please a girl!!!!

Today he took me a walk on the Southern Upland Way, and most of it was bog.......

My picture is of the trig point on the highest section of the walk, which was great...... but the bog was hard going......eight miles of it too!

Saw some lovely wild flowers, though, I have added as extras Ragged Robin and Bog Cotton; also saw March Orchids, Tormentil, Stitchwort, Harebells, and lots of other marsh plants.

Luckily the weather stayed dry...... just until we got back to the car, when we had a downpour...... we were happy to be inside the vehicle......
