St Moritz

So here we are in St Moritz at the start of Swiss Orienteering Week 2016 and it is worth the climb of 554 steps to our very comfortable apartment to have this view.  If you look closely in the foreground you will see a crazily shaped building which our taxi driver pointed out when we arrived from the station (we didn't hump our bags up those steps!)  The building is the Chesa Futura and was designed by the British architectural group Foster and Partners and is 'environmentally sensitive'.

So we have visited the Event Centre to pick up our race numbers and travel passes and then we did carry the shopping up all those steps.  Tony is presently suggesting we go down them again to time our walk to the station where the event shuttle buses will stop en route to S-Chanf tomorrow.  Guess it will walk off dinner!
