A new addition.......

Our first calf was born overnight, so there was no question as to what I would be blipping today. This little Jersey heifer was enjoying a good feed, while mum was having her lunch of silage. So we have started calving.....only another few hundred to go!

We had a lovely warm day today. It got to 16 degrees this afternoon - almost unheard of at this time of year. It was nice to be outside without a sweatshirt on, and I'm sure our new arrival enjoyed being outside in the sun.

This picture was taken with the RAW setting, after reading RichieBoo's blip yesterday. Thought I would give it a go, and was surprised at how different the picture came out. I love the clouds, I might even give it another go sometime.
