It's not all fun

Work colleague asked me to look at a couple of research papers she's reading as part of an assignment she's doing, I assume it's for a masters degree.

She sent me one of the driest papers I have read and there are many pages. My initial thoughts are that the researcher has been pushing this theory since the 1970s so why isn't it more popular if it's really good stuff?

My second thought is that there is a world of difference between psychiatrists and psychologists, I'm not sure we naturally 'click'.
