Thunderstorm over York University

Several nasty thunderstorms passed through the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and dumped a lot of water. Lots and lots of lightning and thunder but not a lot of wind, strangely. This photo, which is in full colour, shows the second storm approaching from the west (this view is southwest from my office). We had a few power outages, but they were brief. The rain flooded things a bit on campus but not too seriously. The rain is much needed. Everything is quite parched.
