With grandson Kit today at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. Little Kit was a bit frightened by the powerful old locomotive, but we held to one another tightly, rode the train with bravery, and talked and talked about engines, engineers, and those halcyon days of steam railroading in the United States.
