Me and my boy

It was a gorgeous day today so after Ethan's football class, we drove west to go to Dumbarton Castle.  They were holding their annual "Rock of Ages" event so as we haven't used our Historic Scotland membership for a while, we thought we'd go along.  I hadn't realised that the big rock at Dumbarton actually doesn't consist of much of a castle - it was a lot of steps to climb to the top but at least it was a nice day with a nice view!

We then popped over to Beith to visit Granny & Grandpa who had just got back from their holidays today an Ethan wanted to go and say "hello".
