Welcome

There is always a warm welcome at the WI's Denman College, and I am so pleased to be here again. The main house is a Georgian Grade II listed building which sits in more than 70 acres of garden. In addition there are modern teaching blocks and accommodation for 80 students in en suite rooms, mostly single.
We had the first session of our course this evening with the tutor explaining the silk painting procedure and giving us a demonstration. We get down to work in the morning and eventually embroider our creation late tomorrow. Can't wait!
