For Your Eyes Only

Back round the M25 to Essex today, after a quick catch-up with my neighbour Maralyn and learning that thankfully her recent iron deficiency has at least not been caused by a return of the bowel cancer she had some years ago.

After lunch, Mum and I went out for a cheeky hot chocolate in Stanway near Colchester.  On the way into the garden centre, I was drawn to these unusual roses - called "For Your Eyes Only" - which won the Royal Horticultural Society's Rose of the Year Award last year.
