Alta, Norway
Morning in Inari was nice, the sun was shining , temperature were around 13c. We ate good large breakfast, refilled fuel tank and hit the road.
Our route to Norway went through Karigasniemi customs. It was easy, we just drove through. We travelled 312km and it took 5 hours.
The views just keep getting better. In Norway side rapids are larger, fells are bigger and mosquitos are hungrier. And finally we are here, at Alta.
Alta town, Alta River and Alta fjord. Amazing place!
We arrived here an hour too early, time is one hour less, but the hotel have our room ready.
So, no time we were walking around town, getting some presents to MyGirl at home. I got a nice sweater jacket for myself as well.
We ate at town and after it we went to see Alta museum and rock carvings. Here are over 6500 year old carvings from people who has always lived here. I have one photo of those carvings, if I can I put it as extra. The museum was really fun. We walked over 3km around sea shore to see 14 different carvings at rocks. Something new for us in museum!
Well, here the sun never goes down, so it still was sunny weather to hike small peak near town and by fjord to see views properly. An hour hike, 200m from sea level.
