Picnic by the Windmill

After breakfast in the village square, we took the boys for a walk before heading off on the bikes for a picnic.

We cycled to Turquant, the troglodyte village and visited a vineyard who have a 'troglo' which you can visit. It was amazing and it looks like they hold events in the cave.

Then we cycled back to Montsoresu and went in search of the windmill we saw the other day. We'd taken a picnic with us, including a bottle of fizz, and sat under the shade of the oak tree you can see next to the windmill. The views across the vineyard were pretty good too!

On our way we saw a donkey and stopped to have a chat and then on our way home we passed a field of lamas! Of course I stopped to 'chat' to them too!

Anyway the packing's done as we head home tomorrow and we're going to get in the hot tub for one final time.

Have a great weekend and thanks to those of you who have come on holiday with us, I hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have. This is one place we'll definitely be coming back to!

Update: on going to bed we saw the news that there's been a military coup in Turkey, and on waking up Saturday morning, the news is that 64 people have been killed - frightening times! Thinking of all those families who have been affected in France & Turkey...
