Seasons? What Seasons?

What with all my trips, it's ages since  I was at Longshaw. Now the school holidays are starting, I shall be mostly at home, and doing quite a bit of volunteering. We had a meeting of volunteers and staff today - the focus being Kickstart the Summer , to introduce activities for families over the holidays, and new ways of doing things that are being trialled. 
Whilst fungi do fruit all year round, Autumn is the season with which they are most associated, so so see this huge swathe of Glistening Inkcaps behind the building where we we were meeting, made me feel as if the seasons are flying by!
Blipmeet at Chatsworth tomorrow. Fingers crossed for some fine weather.
