Footpath sign

This sign is in Pilgrims Way in Canterbury, pointing towards the centre of the town in one direction and towards Dover in the other. It marks one route of the North Downs Way, and the lower sign shows that it is also the route of the Via Francigena, a pilgrim route between Canterbury and Rome. Great symbols for the means of transport that can use the route!
