The Tooth Fairy ........

....... Is on holiday.

We should have been travelling today. But half of one of J's teeth broke yesterday afternoon, Temporary solutions not really working.

Our dentist is on holiday. No real back-up seems to exist. Emergency dental care is hard to come by. We managed to get slotted in at a practice 15 miles away for 9.15 am this morning. Got there to be told the dentist had called in sick. We now have an alternative for this evening.

Fingers crossed. Or clenched teeth.

Postscript - temporary filling now sorted. Emergency dentist good. I took some photos of the X-ray to show our dentist next week. And some good photos of the filling being done. One weird day
