Parental Guidance Optional

We were blessed with a beautiful day on the beach!! I get such a kick out of observing the ridiculousness of people. This lifeguard stand message says it all for today! There is a huge rock jetty between two lifeguard stands on the beach with a sign reading, "Danger, keep off jetty"... Yet, it's not the kids to blame for the obsessive climbing on rocks. All day, any day, there are parents telling their kids to stand or sit on the rocks for photos (with the sign often in the frame). My favorite lines of the day were: "it's only the section under the sign that is dangerous", "if you're going to climb on the rocks, go in the middle part, away from the water", & "what's a jetty" -spoken while standing atop the rocks! Brilliance abounds! These kids don't stand much chance, under their parental guidance :/
