Planning

We had a really busy day at the practice today, and the only photos I took were before and after photos of an eye operation on a cat. The photo is the planning diagram I always make pre - op when doing this procedure. The cat has a condition called entropion where the eyelid turns inwards so that the hairs rub on the eye causing pain and damage to the surface of the eye. You have to assess the severity and how much skin needs removed while the animal is conscious before anaesthetising it as once they are asleep everything relaxes and changes. So this was my surgery plan! Daisy is doing well :)
