volunteering

As it was a nice day and not too busy at work I went for a walk at lunchtime.
Just below the hospital there's an arboretum with a variety of paths and as I headed back up I came upon a place where a garden is being established. I stopped to talk to this volunteer who was moving topsoil and she told me they were trying raised and tabletop beds, as well as standard ones, with lots of "sensory" plants - and hoping they could find rabbit proof ones.
She seemed quite amused when I asked if I could take a photo and explained what might happen to it.
I'll have to go out more often to watch the progress of the garden
P.S. A dunnock was eating the bird food under the cage today (see 2 days ago for explanation)
