Rose of Lintrathen

Soppy title for my blip, but I liked the effect of this wild rose against the calm waters of the Loch of Lintrathen.

We took advantage of the mild and dry weather today to go for one of our usual drives through the Perthshire and Angus scenery on our doorstep.  In over 10 miles on single track roads we didn't see another car - bliss!

All set to change tomorrow with heavy rain on its way, but it was nice while it lasted:-)  An extra shows a huge rose which has just opened and will probably be destroyed by the rain, so wanted to give it its moment of glory:-)
