Cinghiale
On a quiet road through le colline d'Abra on the edge of Chiantishire these two little chaps strolled out in front of the car. My camera was to hand and the lack of traffic allowed me to stop and catch them before they disappeared into the undergrowth.
I noticed a lot of the vineyards have pig wire stretched across their row-ends to stop the boar from getting at the vines and grapes.
The only other time I have seen wild boarlets was on a very early morning trip to the Gouffre de Padirac in south west France.
Many thanks for comments and my apologies for not replying.
I'm also experiencing some problems with my email contact list which may have been hacked into. If you get a dodgy email address with my name in it treat it as very dodgy.
