Tow
I went over to Eday with Rachel, ex-workmate and someone who hadn't visted this island. We got dropped off by the mini-bus at the Mill Loch and walked up to the Setter Stone, then the Vinquoy hill tombs. We had coffee by the tomb (from a flask, not Starbucks) then walked down the road and to the pier with stop-offs at the shop, the heritage centre, a ruined kirk and the Bay of London. No sun but at least it stayed dry. Birds were abundant with one short-eared owl, bonxies, Arctic skuas (see extra), Arctic terns, etc. I liked this old tractor towing an old Humber Super-Snipe.
