Tough Hills

Tonight our club hosted its annual race "The Newman Hilly 5".
The 'Hilly' isn't ironic - it really is a very hilly 5 miles.
This year unfortunately (???) I was a marshal/photographer.

This shot is of a guy who joined our running club the week after me, 12 years ago and my training buddy ever since.
He won't be too pleased with this shot mind you, at the end of a tough hill with 4 miles behind him!
Although I have known him for 12 years I still cannot pronounce his surname...'Satha Alaganandasundaram'!
