Brand new dog

Not really, obvs but Rosie had suddenly developed a vast number of knots and dreadlocks over the past three weeks. So today she went off to be shorn like a sheep. Well, that makes it sound like she made the choice and went trotting off this morning - obvs I set it all up and drive her to get salon appointment. She should start looking normal again in a few weeks, in the meantime we just laugh at her every time she comes into sight.

Other highlights today include a nice bbq and then fire in the sunny evening. And Will got a really lovely report from his teacher who I think I love more than any other teacher that either child has ever had. Am fully very happy at the changed school decision. He is still a complete idiot mind, but doing well at school so all good.

Tour de France now, and the actual, real Friday tomorrow!
