Stramash on the water

After trying to sort out some paperwork this morning I headed off to Barton (near the Humber Bridge) for a walk around Waters Edge park -  great little walk alongside the river and some ponds. 
Lots of wild life, including those have added in extras and dragonflies the size of helicopters that wouldn't stay in one place long enough for me to photograph!
The shot I've blipped is of a coot and a duck having a wee bit of a stramash. The coot was trying to (and succeeded) in nabbing one of the ducklings for lunch. The duck of course was trying to protect her broad and distract the coot. Alas she wasn't successful as one was nabbed (see extras)
