The bees were covered in pollen when the new flower opened this morning. I hope they don't overdose. Extra photo.

The second extra photo is my first attempt at oil painting. It will also be my last.

We were up at 5:10am and then G was off on the train to Lord's for a couple of hours cricket, and then to visit son S. I have heard no news yet. I didn't really expect any from S but  .............. well that's men for you!
