Marbled Whites

I took the spaniel on the Downs near Lewes this morning and we walked up one of my favourite hidden dry valleys. Its about half a mile long but in that half mile we saw huge numbers - I'd guess in excess of 400 - marbled whites. Here's the female nectaring on knapweed.
