Final day at the Le Mans circuit

I loved the display of car transporters and support vehicles many of which are still in use.

Included another extra showing some of the cars on their way to the main circuit. These passed by the area we were parked in so even although we needed to leave it was difficult not to stay and watch their journey.

Final extra is one of my favourites parked at the club, a Lamborghini Muira.

A shorter day for us at the circuit but still packed loads in. We didn't use our grandstand tickets today but managed to catch some of the track action on screen and whilst walking around. This was the first time I've been to this event and found the actual race viewing to be not quite as good as other classic race meetings. The screen footage and commentary was difficult to follow the race progress - a 13km circuit must be quite a challenge.

Back to the chateaux late afternoon to avoid some of the queues, a few relaxing drinks in a nearby cafe and then dinner at a nearby vineyard.
