Dragon boat race

A participated and we watched the charity B dragon boat race on Llyn Padarn. There were 26 boats, 3 races and then the final. Dream of Dans Dragon team came 3rd, which wasn't bad given most of them hadn't even met each other prior to the race let along paddled a dragon boat.
These too were in wetsuits most of the day, practising skimming stones and cheering races. Here they are at the end of the day in the floating platoon from the olympics j think someone said. The dragon boats were launched from here so they hadn't managed access all day.
Dan is an old friend from Bangor Unicersity Canoe Club. We also popped round to see Debbie and David, also old pals from uni days. It'd been about 23 years we think ...seemed like only last month.
