Glorious green!!

A trip into Nottingham today to make a big purchase. We drove as far as the Park & Ride at Nottingham race course, a route that took us through Southwell with it’s beautiful cathedral. 

The plan is to go back one day to spend time looking round the town, Cathedral and to visit the Workhouse which is a National Trust property.
   
We stopped off at a garden centre in Southwell to have some lunch and pick up some bits and pieces. I found a second garden centre in the area, at Normanton, on Google maps so we called in there as well, to see what it had to offer. 

We were well impressed with the quality of the plants and the look of their café. They also have a swan sanctuary which we will see on our next visit.
