Rose Garden, Polesden Lacey.

After an early start today I worked in Epsom and Dorking. I bought my lunch in Dorking and stopped for a short while at Polesden Lacey and ate my sandwich in the beautiful rose garden, this is a walled garden and as you enter it, the gorgeous scent of the roses envelopes you. Polesden Lacey is very close to where my Dad grew up and it was in the grounds here around 59 years ago that he proposed to my Mum.
