At the bottom of a huge Hill, Nant Gwyrtheyrn
An isolated community working a local quarry to produce "Setts" that is rectangular blocks of Granite set on end and once used as a very hard wearing road surface.
The finished blocks were taken down to that Building and jetty near the beach as the road above was so steep and dangerous it was hardly ever used and all supplies came in from the Irish sea
History of the Nant
The folk tales are amazing, especially the sad one of the Bride who went missing
Rhys and Meinir
It is an amazing place to visit!
