American Crow
The American crow is a large and not very colorful bird. Usually one thinks of crows as completely black, but the crows had quite a bit of brown coloring. A crow's old feathers are brown, and new feathers are black and glossy. A crow's eyes are brown and feathers cover it's nostrils.
Four crows were foraging in short grass following a thunderstorm, and I was able to get surprisingly close by staying within the confines of my mobile studio. This crow was speaking to me caw-caw-caw!
One of the crows likes junk food. I twice saw it eating Cheetohs and not sharing! See extra photo where it cleverly lines up four Cheetohs at a time in it's bill.
