Visiting time..

The vet said I could go and see Jasper. They encourage owners to visit cats, but not dogs.
Cats seem to benefit but dogs become more fretful after a visit.

The patient seemed to perk up when he saw me and ate his first bit of food (that I'd taken for him; they had not been able to tempt him with any of theirs) and he had a good long drink of water. After about 20 minutes he did a big sigh, a contented stretch and settled down to sleep. Will be speaking to the vet tomorrow morning about test results and a treatment plan!
