Tell Tale Marks

Looking along the beach today.......there is an obviously tell tale line....showing where the waves carrying the sea weed, reached.
Only a week ago, there was sailing boat "beached"....half way up the beach towards the road...... directly as a result of the high winds and big waves.
Today, all is calm......only the 'Tell Tale Marks' ...... indicate how high the sea level reached.
