Red rose

When I cleared the flower bed in the back, there was a rather large rose bush.

I could not be bothered to dig it out as it was very big.

I cut it down to nothing.

The recent sunshine and rain have caused it to have a new lease of life and it has 6 buds on it.

Tonight, this one has started to open. The colour is stunning, and now I can't bring myself to dig it out.

I may leave this one and let it stay but I will keep it small.

Nature is amazing.
