They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.


A sombre reminder of what happens when Europe is divided. Very sad place to visit. But there was a heartening site of lots of youngsters from the United Kingdom at the 20.00 ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres. A pity that their parents have not learned the lessons of what a continent divided produces.

On a more cheery note went to a lovely arts festival in nearby Watou earlier in the day. Images from that are here.
