Summer at the Pond
When I walk the Yare, which I do most days, this is a favourite stopping point. It's a small pond, at a bend in the river, that's a wee conservancy patch. Some of you may remember my frogs in the Spring :this is where they come. There's usually ,each Spring, a Coot family with a big untidy nest in the reeds. Dragonflies and many different flowers. The Spire is Norwich Cathedral. I really like the way the afternoon light bounces across the water.
The extra : my first Kent cherries in a Grahame Clarke cup/saucer that I treasure. They were delicious.
