The Lagoon

The Boss (from Tussock Tales) and I headed out this morning to photograph the hoar frost.  But no hoar frost today!!  We went to The Lagoon in Albert Town, it was frozen over, but not enough to walk on.  We had a nice cuppa at a local Albert Town cafe, which is fast becoming a favourite with the walking group.  -2C to +11C.

I then drove out to Dublin Bay to see what the track was like.  Usually it is full of puddles, and we have to carefully make our way around the water obstacle.  They haven't got rid of the dips in the road, but they have cut trenches from the puddles draining into the lake below.  We will walk there next Monday (weather permitting).
