Step by Step

I have a lovely cousin who lives inland.
She has kindly given me some storage space for my older paintings that I don't want to show but don't want to dispose of. It's getting kinda hard to move around at home :-)
This is the side of her house - they converted it from a barn and left these steps just because they look nice - they don't lead anywhere anymore. Don't these geraniums look fab in their terracotta pots - a touch of Provence in County Durham :-)
AND we came home laden with goodies from their garden - strawberries and spring onions and calibrese and even a dozen free range eggs. How lucky are we.

It rained - but on such beauty  - who cares?
