Pete at Lords

For a birthday present I got Pete a tour around Lords cricket ground, which we finally got round to going on.
We had a great day. We started from Paddington station and walked up to Little Venice, then along the Regents canal to Lords. Had the tour, then continued along the Regents canal to Camden lock. Had a good look around the various markets. Got the tube to Charing cross and had dinner in the croft at St Martins in the field. We the walked via Trafalgar square down the Mall by St James park, to Buckingham palace. Up constitution Hill /thru Green Park. Then across Hyde park corner (thankfully they have pedestrian crossings) and into Hyde park - walked along the length of the Serpentine, and then back to Paddington station! It was good to get a bum on the seat for the journey back to Swindon. We walked 13.5 miles!
