This is almost the view from my kitchen window. There is a trough close to the house and the plants are all in containers.
First there is a hydrangea, then a fig tree that has been in the same tub for thirteen years. Next there is an oleander which miraculously survived the hard winter and is about to flower. After that there is another hydrangea followed by a tub that is always planted with annuals. We end with a little olive tree and a camellia.
Red geraniums in pots on the wall and urns on the ground add the brilliant colour that I love.
I enjoy container gardening. It is so much more under my control than the open garden!
