Not Mono Monday

Very much an emergency Blip this evening. Our TV has for a long time had three lines of pixels at the left of the screen that have given up the ghost. This morning we were waiting in for a package to be delivered and when we heard there was likely to be some news about the Conservative leadership contest we put the TV on only to find another few lines of pixels had gone kaput. It was now so distracting that we decided a new TV was in order. I'd already done a bit of research and fancied one of these '4K' jobbies so off we went to John Lewis and the rest of the afternoon has been spent setting it up. Just need to find out how to get a picture as well as sound when we play a DVD but that can wait until tomorrow.
